We were honored to participate recently in Family Service Night at Oakwood Elementary, organized by Patricia D’Angelico of Wayzata Community in Action.
The event included a “Kids Helping Kids” station, where a group of Girl Scouts hosted a pencil pouch project for Common Hope. They decorated 72 pencil pouches, then filled each with pencils and erasers, a pencil sharpener, and a bookmark. They also donated the leftover pencils and learned a little about Guatemala by participating.
Thank you to Patricia and the Girl Scouts for helping kids in Guatemala! Your supplies will be put to good use in the classroom.
