The Strachan Foundation was in Antigua this week to offer two trainings for Common Hope and several other local organizations. The first was on monitoring and evaluation, the second on conflict resolution and restorative practices. Between the two trainings, 20 staff from Common Hope participated, as well as about ten guests from other NGOs: Cooperative for Education, Peronia, Hospitalito Atitlan, Pueblo a Pueblo, and PENNAT. Miguel Tello, executive director of the Strachan Foundation, facilitated.
The workshops provided very valuable and pertinent skill building for our staff, which will be put to use right away as we begin planning for 2014. Our staff is already talking about how they can implement the new monitoring and evaluation tools into their programs so they can better measure the results of our efforts. Thanks very much to Miguel Tello and the Strachan Foundation for your generosity!
