Staff plant 500 trees for team building activity

This year’s all-staff team building activity was an ambitious environmental project. Staff from all sites came together last Friday to plant trees on Cerro de la Cruz, the park above Antigua. It was a great morning of team building and caring for the environment.

The activity started with a puzzle that illustrated working as a team, demonstrating how each person contributes a piece to the puzzle. Then, staff members hiked from Antigua up to Cerro de la Cruz to plant the trees, picking up trash along the way. In total, around 500 trees were planted. The project also was written up in a local paper, for its contribution to the local environment.

Congratulations to all staff for your contribution to a greener planet. More photos from the event below!
