My father works as a mason, but he often has a hard time finding work so my mother found a job as a housekeeper. My older sister helps me do my homework. I am studying in 5th grade and I have big dreams of becoming a doctor when I grow up.
While my twin brother, José Miguel, wants to be a pilot when he grows up, I want to be a lawyer. Even though I am only 5 years old, I have big dreams. I am excited to attend school every day and I enjoy having new friends, even though I can’t always remember their names.
I’m a twin! My brother, José Julian, and I are both in need of a sponsor. Our family is new to Common Hope. My parents’ dream is that I graduate from high school and that we can work for a new home. I am studying in preschool this year and my favorite class is reading.
With a 5th grade education, my father works as a day laborer. My mom passed away a couple years ago so my father is the sole caregiver and provider. He approached Common Hope so that we could receive an education. I’d like to have a sponsor that can support my dreams and my father’s, too.
