I am 5 years old and just started kindergarten. I have 5 older siblings and a little sister. Our family lives in San Rafael. My mother only finished 2nd grade. I like school and want to go school for as long as I can.
I am 10 years old and repeating 3rd grade this year. I’m the oldest child, so I feel pressure to help my parents work in the field instead of doing schoolwork. With Common Hope’s help, I hope to pass 3rd grade this year.
I am 11 years old and in 6th grade. My parents are farmers and support us 5 kids by growing corn and black beans. Graduating from 6th grade is a big deal in my community of San Rafael.
I am 10 years old and studying 3rd grade this year. My family lives in San Rafael. I am the oldest child in the family, so my 4 siblings look up to me and watch my example. When I’m not in school, I help my dad with farming.
