Kids for the PwC online gallery


I am 7 years old and in 1st grade. For me, school starts at 7:30am and ends at 12:30pm. When I get home my sister helps me with my homework. I like bunnies and when I grow up I want to be a soldier. I hope one day my sponsor can come visit me.

A few years ago my parents moved our family in order to find better job opportunities. Now we live close to Antigua and my parents sell ice cream. I help by selling candies. I’m in 5th grade and I’ve had some difficulties with a few of my classes. I’d love to have a sponsor!

My mom, older sister and I live in a very small room on the land where my grandparents live. We don’t have much and my mom does her best supporting us by doing laundry for a living. I am in 3rd grade this year and calligraphy is my favorite class.

I would really like to have a sponsor because it would be fun to read their letters and write back. My dad is a farmer and he raises beans and maize. He only went to school until 2nd grade. But my parents wanted me to have an education and this year I’m in 3rd grade.

Common Hope’s programs have been a huge help to my family. I was able to get medical care when I needed it and we also participated in the Nurturing Parenting Program to learn how to better communicate as a family. This year I’m in 8th grade and one day I hope to become a bookkeeper.
