Common Hope Golf Classic: Silent Auction Items

New this year, the 6th Annual Common Hope Golf Classic featuring Rich Gannon will host a Silent Auction with some incredible items up for bid. A detailed description of each item is provided below. We will be adding more items as we approach August 3rd, so be sure to check back often.

Instructions for placing an absentee bid

  • You don’t have to be golfing at the tournament to bid in this year’s silent auction.
  • If you would like to place an absentee bid, please call Michelle d’Almeida at 651-287-0717 or email her at michelled@us.commonhope.org with your highest bid by Wednesday, July 29, 2015.
  • The day of the tournament, golfers will be able to place bids throughout the day.
  • All bidding will end at 5:30 p.m. and winners will be announced at 5:40 p.m. If your absentee bid wins, you will be notified.

Two tickets to the Thursday round and Opening Ceremony of the Ryder Cup at Hazeltine, plus a round of golf at Hazeltine with CH Board Member Bob Fafinski. Valued at $2,700. Minimum bid: $900. This is the hottest ticket in town, and also the hardest to get! The winner will receive two tickets to the Thursday practice round on September 29, 2016 as well as entrance to the Opening Ceremony held that day. The recipient of this package will also have the opportunity to play a round of golf at Hazeltine this year with Common Hope Board Member, Bob Fafinski and two of the recipient’s friends.
Two complimentary tickets to The Masters Practice Round with the winning bid on a two night stay in a private residence at Reynolds Plantation. Valued at $3,400. Minimum bid: $1,400. Enjoy a two night stay for two guests at the Slaughter Home, a private residence in Reynolds Plantation, a private golf community located approximately 45 minutes from Augusta, Georgia. Included are two complimentary PR tickets to The Masters Practice Round on Monday, April 4, 2016.
One week stay at The Residences at The Landings Country Club. Valued at $2,500. Minimum bid: $1,000. The Residences at The Landings, located in Fort Myers, Florida, evolved as one of Florida’s most prestigious master planned communities. Each unit is positioned to take advantage of the spectacular views of the rolling golf course, marina, spacious lakes, or the river. You will stay in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, beautifully furnished condominium. The condo has a full kitchen, laundry room, living room, and a large patio. There is also a pool on the property.
$500 gift card towards a stay at Superior Shores Resort in Two Harbors, MN. Valued at $500. Minimum bid: $200. Superior Shores Resort is located on Lake Superior in Two Harbors, Minnesota, twenty miles north of Duluth and less than three hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul.  The resort offers a variety of accommodations, including lodge rooms, Jacuzzi rooms, studios, and suites at the lodge and one to three bedroom lakehomes, adjacent to the lodge.  The resort is situated on sixty wooded acres with over a mile of Lake Superior coastline, including a 2000 foot pebbled beach.  Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, hiking and cross country ski trails, an 18-hole golf course and access to snowmobile trails are on-site or nearby. Be the helicopter ball dropper on the day of the tournament and enjoy a 15 minute helicopter ride with a friend. Valued at $190. Minimum bid: $80. Winner will get to drop the golf balls from the helicopter and then enjoy a 15 minute ride around the city with a friend. You must be present to win!
A Taylormade R15 Driver with a professional fitting and a round of golf at Mendakota Country Club. Valued at $1,200. Minimum bid: $450. Take your tee shot to the next level! The highest bidder will receive a Taylormade R15 driver, which features a lower and more forward center of gravity to promote higher launch and lower spin. This club will be personally fitted to you, and can be exchanged for a woman’s club! Also included is a foursome at Mendakota Country Club, an 18-hole, par 72, championship course.
