Our Family Development Center, opened in 1993, is a bustling hub of activity for more than 7,000 children and adults. Located just outside Antigua, it is central to the 15 communities in the Antigua valley where we work. Before building the center, Common Hope worked out of several houses in Antigua.

A beautiful campus of six buildings and a network of peaceful gardens, the center includes a medical and dental clinic, library, offices for social workers and other staff, volunteer housing, a warehouse for donations, and more.

The center is designed to be a hub for Common Hope’s expanding network of communities served. It is built to California earthquake standards and can also serve as a crisis center if there is a major earthquake or flood.

We welcome visitors to our Family Development Center. Give us a call and come by for a tour the next time you are in Guatemala.
