Sponsorship is a powerful way to offer hope and opportunity to a child and family in Guatemala, a chance for people who care to put their ideals into action, making a real difference and a lasting connection with a family in need. While sponsorship centers around a personal relationship with a student, Sponsors benefit entire families who have access to our comprehensive and integrated set of programs because of their support.
We believe that education is the key to long-term success, and the emotional and financial support of Sponsors plays a critical role in helping students reach their full potential.
Sponsors can choose to support a student of pre-school to university age. Sponsorship contributions help provide valuable benefits like these to children and their families:
- Education - registration fees, tuition, books, supplies, and tutoring
- Health & Dental Care - preventive care, medication, surgery, and nutritional counseling
- Housing - homes, stoves, potable water, electrification, cement floors, and roofs
- Family & Community Development - adult education, job counseling, and emergency relief
As a Sponsor, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that, even across many miles, your giving can make a real difference in someone’s life.
