It's about the Right Stuff

Common Hope is very fortunate to have supporters who collect supplies and equipment which we ship to Guatemala. In addition to saving money, this also provides sophisticated equipment that is unavailable in Guatemala.

We receive material donations from individuals, groups, small businesses, and large corporations. Collecting and donating supplies is a tangible way to help someone in need and spread the word about our work.

Our programs and services are comprehensive. As a result, our needs are varied, ranging from colored pencils to anesthesia machines. Please take a moment to look at our needs lists. We’re sure you will find something that you can contribute.

We are very careful about what we collect, and encourage you to use our lists as guides. We prepare donations for shipment at our warehouse in St. Paul, MN, USA. Items are sent in suitcases with travelers headed to Guatemala or in 40-foot containers.

It is a unique blessing to have such a flow of material donations to a materially poor country. Each year, we share our blessings by donating extra supplies to approximately 150 other worthy causes, such as clinics, schools, firefighters, and orphanages.
