Common Hope respects the privacy of those on our mailing list, those visiting our website, and those making monetary contributions via Facebook, Instagram, or Classy.  The data and information we collect are used only to communicate with you directly in order to further our mission. It is our policy to collect and store only personal information that is knowingly provided to us.  All personal information you provide is stored on secure servers and Common Hope takes reasonable technical and organizational precautions to prevent loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.

Our donor list and supporter list is not for sale. When you join our mailing list, visit our website, or make a contribution, your name and information provided will not be sold or given to other persons or organizations.

REQUESTING DATA DELETION: To request that any of your data be removed from our secure servers please contact Common Hope’s Raiser’s Edge database administrator, Dan Dahlke, at DanD@us.commonhope.org or call 651-287-0726. Your information will be removed promptly upon your request.

Mailing List Removal Policy

It is the policy of Common Hope to discontinue contacting any person upon that person’s oral or written request directed to the organization. Common Hope shall promptly modify the donor record indicating that they do not wish to be contacted by or on behalf of Common Hope.

Limitation: Contact by Common Hope that is solicited by a person whose name appears as “do not contact” in the database shall be limited to providing a direct response to the person’s inquiry and shall not cause the person’s name to be removed from the “do not contact” list.

Procedure: Upon a person’s (or a person’s authorized representative’s) request that Common Hope discontinue further contacts, the person’s name and address record will be promptly modified to insure that no further contact is made with the person.
