We're proud of our community!

On August 26th, we gathered to play golf, connect with dedicated Common Hope supporters, and create meaningful change.

Arriving early at Minneapolis Golf Club, we knew the extreme heat and humidity would double the challenge of the HopeMasters Tournament. Yet, the heat was no match for our determined golfers. Together, they rose to the occasion and raised $112,000 for essential programs for Common Hope students and families.

The HopeMasters Tournament plays a crucial role in driving change in Guatemala. We use our tournament to highlight the important work of our Housing Program, one of our four core programs used to affect change for Common Hope students. With the funds raised at our tournament, our Housing Team can provide families with a safe place to sleep, students with a space to study, proper ventilation for cooking, and access to safe drinking water. Dignified housing lays the foundation that enables families to prioritize education, stay healthy, and grow.

The López family received their new home this year. Despite the challenges of not having a secure place to live and study, they persevered. Now, with their new home, the mother shares, “I’m very proud of our home. The family dynamic has changed for the better because we have adequate space and privacy. We like to decorate our home with plants and think that the plants are happier here too.”

How does a game of golf drive change?

These happy moments are made possible through your support. A community of golfers can be motivated and inspired to give to Common Hope. With this support, our social workers can effectively see the needs of the community in Guatemala. With the funds raised at our tournament, our housing team is able to address the needs of the community changing the lives of students with a safe place to study and grow with their families.

We are deeply thankful for Common Hope supporters and your constant efforts to ensure a better future through education for students and families in Guatemala. Your efforts provide the foundation for a brighter tomorrow.

We can’t wait for next year’s HopeMasters and hope to see you there to have another hole-in-one event.

In Build Now GG, I faced an opponent who kept attacking from different angles. I had to stay alert and change my positioning constantly just to keep up with them.

The modern world is filled with digital games that entertain people for hours. Some games depend on fast reflexes, complicated stories, advanced graphics, or competition with other players. However, there are also games that are remarkably simple in design but highly challenging in practice. One of the best examples is 2048, a popular mathematical and puzzle game that became an internet sensation because of its simple rules and addictive gameplay. Although the game appears easy at first, playing it successfully requires planning, logical thinking, patience, concentration, and an understanding of patterns. More than just a form of entertainment, 2048 demonstrates how simple rules can create complex challenges and how games can develop useful mental skills.

The best thing about Steal A Brainrot is how unpredictable every match becomes. Players constantly change strategies, troll each other, and create hilarious moments without even trying. It’s the perfect game to play when you want something competitive but still funny and relaxing.
